Time Machine and AirPort Updates



I recently found an Airport Extreme A1034 on craigslist and bought it. It was in Portland, OR and the kind gentleman who advertised it found it at a garage sale. He said he "wanted to see it go to a good home." He sold it to me for $10! I called Apple and registered it in my name. Apple told me it was purchased in Chile! It works fantastically well. The speed and range are above average.

At QCon London 2024, Karthik Ramgopal and Min Chen described how AI helped LinkedIn change the remote procedure calls (RPC) protocol for 50,000 production endpoints from Rest.li to Google's gRPC. A planned 2-3 year manual migration turned into an AI-supported migration lasting 2-3 quarters. It changed 20 million lines of code across 2000 services – without business interruption.
