Helidon: Java Libraries for Writing Microservices
Come to this session to learn about Helidon, a collection of Java libraries for building microservices. The presentation provides a brief overview of Helidon, including its two programming models: MicroProfile, for those wanting inversion of control and familiar Java EE APIs, and Helidon Native, for those wanting a lightweight, functional model. You will learn how to quickly create your first Helidon application and deploy it to Kubernetes.
Santiago is an expert in JAX-RS and REST, having been the spec lead for
the JAX-RS specification. He's now helping deliver Oracle's Project
Helidon, which continues to deliver on the promise of the Microprofile
and Java EE.
Santiago is based in Ft. Lauderdale.
