Still No Tax Software for Linux? | Hackerspaces | CodeTown

6:20 - 7:30 Presentation - MythTV - Now in HD

MythTV is a free open source digital video recorder (DVR) project
distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL. It has been under heavy
development since 2002. It now contains most features one would expect
from a really good DVR. MythTV can also function as a server for all of
your digital content (TV, movies, audio, and pictures).

Lots of things have changed since the last presentation of this
technology in June 2006. High definition playback, choice of new
components, and over the air reception of digital signals will be some
of the topics covered in this presentation.

We will have at least 2 computers running MythTV to show its use as both
a server and a client.

7:30 - 8:00 Tech Talk - all you can eat :)

See you there,

Clinton Collins, President
GatorLUG, Gainesville, Florida

Article: 9 Steps Towards an Agile Architecture

Just as a Minimum-Viable Architecture (MVA) approach does not create a system’s architecture in a single step, adopting an MVA approach takes a series of incremental steps as well. These organizational changes start with a single development team and use feedback to evolve the process as more teams are brought in.
