Our very own Kevin Neelands will introduce us to Java/Android programing. The meeting will be held at Santafe College, third floor of S-building next to the bookstore. We'll have the exact room number soon.
Kevin Neelands has done mobile app development for the iPhone, iPad and Android devices. He will talk about some of the initial things he learned about Android while porting iOS apps to Android, specifically how Android differs from iOS. This talk will de-emphasize technical aspects and will be appropriate for people who are familiar with Java but just starting Android programing.
