Have you heard of them? They look cool, but EXPENSIVE. I think they're too expensive for the average consumer. Estimote is an iBeacon manufacturer. Their website shows you several uses for iBeacons. Are any of you developing apps that use iBeacons? Carrot Hunger is an app that uses iBeacons. Here's an article with a good explanation of how iBeacons work.
