We'll have a special OrlandoJUG this month - it's a lightning talk session, featuring all members. This is your chance to talk about what's new, what you're working on or anything that's important to you.
This will be a pot luck dinner. Please bring an appetizer if you can. If you can't, no worries! There is always enough for everyone. Drinks are welcome, too.
Agenda: We'll collect short abstracts first, at the start of the meeting. Then, the group will order the abstracts. We'll use a timer and limit the talks to 5 minutes. Once done, we can continue the talks over tasty beverages. A good time!
Please feel free to use Codetown's "invite" feature to tell your friends and colleagues about this event. And, bring a friend!
Please RSVP!

Codetown is a social network. It's got blogs, forums, groups, personal pages and more! You might think of Codetown as a funky camper van with lots of compartments for your stuff and a great multimedia system, too! Best of all, Codetown has room for all of your friends.

The first implementation is available as a DuckDB extension and includes catalog-stored small updates, improved sorting and partitioning options, and compatibility with Iceberg-style data features.

The update integrates with Schema Registry, improves compatibility across serialization formats, and reduces coupling between data and metadata in event-driven architectures.
