Thus month, we'll look at the plethora of open source topics covered at OSCON. You can preview at http://www.oscon.com. All the keynotes were recorded. There's a schedule with topics and summaries. There are also slides from some if the presentations.
This will be a potluck meeting or we can go across the street and have tasty, locally produced food from Saigon Legend. They grow their own herbs and get produce from the farmer's market. FYI, there's a coupon for a buy one get one free meal in this month's Best Deal's magazine. It's available in newsstands next to The Alligator.
Please RSVP and invite a friend, if you like.
Codetown is a social network. It's got blogs, forums, groups, personal pages and more! You might think of Codetown as a funky camper van with lots of compartments for your stuff and a great multimedia system, too! Best of all, Codetown has room for all of your friends.

By Matt FosterAnthropic researchers have open-sourced the tool they used to trace what goes on inside a large language model during inference. It includes a circuit tracing Python library that can be used with any open-weights model and a frontend hosted on Neuropedia to explore the library output through a graph.
