Heroku will present their Polyglot Cloud Application Platform that makes it easy to deploy Java & Play! apps to the cloud.
Deployment is as simple as doing a "git push". This session will teach you how to deploy and scale Java & Play! apps on Heroku.
About Heroku
Heroku is a cloud application platform – a new way of building and deploying web apps. The service lets app developers spend 100% of their time on their application code, not managing servers, deployment, ongoing operations, or scaling.
Meeting Schedule:
* 6-6:45 PM: Networking
* 6:45 - 8:30 PM: Presentation
Food and refreshments will be provided by Heroku
The event will be hosted by Community Foundation of Sarasota, located at 2635 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota, FL 34237, which is west of exit 210 off I75.
All are welcome. Please RSVP
