- I am a software professional expanding my skills to the Android Platform. I have modified some applications, but I am going thru the Head First Android Development book to round out my skills and obtain a better understanding of Android capabilities. Ultimately I need to add functions to an application we use here at my work place. I need a mentor to help me get thru some of the Android syntax errors I receive and offer some guidance. Thanks, Rob

Cloudflare, VoidZero and Max Schwenk announced tsrs, an experimental Rust port of the TypeScript compiler, built with the TypeScript team's involvement. Cloudflare claims up to 8x faster checking and 70% less memory than TypeScript 7.0, though one test against 7.1 beta showed 2.7x. It lacks watch mode and a language server, and exits with code 2 on type errors.
