OrlandoJUG Lightning Talks
We met and enjoyed a pot luck dinner. There was more than enough food for everyone.
The approach we took for the talks was to post our topics on the whiteboard, then spend about 5 minutes on each topic. A question and answer session followed each talk.
We learned about BarCamp from David Harris - what it is and why you'd want to go. There's a BarCamp here in Tampa, FL this weekend.
Greg Groves talked about HL7 and hospital information systems.
John Considine talked about TPTP - the Test and Performance Tools Platform.
John DiLorenzo discussed the Pentaho reports component he used in a recent project.
Matt Drees talked about payment processing at Campus Crusade for Christ.
