Has social networking reached it's peak?
The change from traditional read-only web pages to read write web pages took the world by storm. Web 2.0 gave rise to blogs and social features that gave a voice to the independent. It also reconnected friends and enabled friendships to be extended and prolonged.
However, advertising and marketing is the easiest way to monetize the social web. This article raises some very valid points. Just look at what's happening to the world's third largest web company, Yahoo. Is social networking over? Many people have already begun filtering their posts to only include select groups of people. What do you think?

Cloudflare has recently published the sixth edition of its Radar Year in Review.
