If you are an AI pioneer, O'Reilly would love for you to participate in the inaugural Artificial Intelligence Conference Startup Showcase in San Francisco.
Their team of investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts will review all submissions and invite ten finalist companies to present their technologies and tell their stories during the Startup Showcase on Monday, September 18. The judges will meet companies at the showcase and collectively decide on a winner, which they'll announce during keynotes on Tuesday, September 19.
To participate, complete the Startup Showcase application before midnight on Friday, July 21.

GitHub’s Octoverse 2025 report reveals a "convenience loop" where AI coding assistants drive language choice. TypeScript’s 66% surge to the #1 spot highlights a shift toward static typing, as types provide essential guardrails for LLMs. While Python leads in AI research, the industry is consolidating around stacks that minimize AI friction, creating a barrier for new, niche languages.
