SpringSource + G2One

There were quit some news generated from SpringSource acquired the G2One company recently. However some didn't like Spring's recent changes to their maintenance license and afraid they will do similar thing to Groovy project. Is there anyone here who is using Groovy in production at work? How/what the acquisition news means to you?

Despite I am a Scala fan, I personally think it's a positive and great news to see them combining effort and pushing the dynamic language further. I like working with Java and using Spring on many areas of developments. In some situations, having a power and flexible of scripting language capability can come in very handy and time saving. Groovy seems to interoperate with Java platform very nicely too. Though I think SpringSource has more interest in Grail project since it's based on SpringMVC library already. What do you think?
