Codetown ::: a software developer's community
Very sad news: Kevin Neelands passed away recently. Kevin was very active in the community.
He gave many informative and fun presentations for the GatorJUG. Kevin was very proud of the Periodic Table app he created that was consistently one of the most popular free scientific apps at the iTunes app store.
Kevin's programming experience spanned multiple decades. He was fluent in Java and most recently Ruby. Kevin was a native Gainesvillian, very proud to have worked at Burrito Bros way back "in the day".
We will miss Kevin a lot.
