Codetown ::: a software developer's community
Hello, GatorJUG!
Howard Lewis-Ship, author of Tapestry, the popular Java framework will give a presentation on the functional programming language called Clojure. Read all about it here: http://www.codetown.us/events/gatorjug-with-howard-lewis-ship
RSVP at that link so we know you're coming. Thanks!
Please spread the word. Tapestry has been used all over the world for years. Here's an opportunity to meet the author and ask any questions you like. Plus, he'll focus on Clojure, a language many of you already are addicted to. I know of one person in particular in our group who has used functional languages, and I believe it was Clojure, to win a Codetown contest! Do any of you remember who that is?
Here's a giant hint: http://www.codetown.us/group/contesttown/forum/topics/wari-contest-1
Let us know if you have ideas or suggestions for future meetings.
All the best,
Michael Levin
