This conference will focus on the latest technologies and best practices emerging in the enterprise software development space. Our speakers are authors, consultants, open source developers, and recognized industry experts. NFJS brings a high quality conference to your city, making the event accessible not only to senior engineers, but to the whole team.
» Cutting-Edge Technologies – Develop better and faster. Technology evolves and changes at a rapid rate. NFJS helps you stay current and assist you in making the right technology choices down the road.
» Excellent Team Building Experience – because of its local roots, an NFJS event allows teams of developers/architects/managers from a company to attend together. Getting out of the "office environment" together as a group to learn/discuss concepts is a powerful combination. Want to solve a problem? Get a fresh opinion at an NFJS event. Interaction and exchange of ideas is one of the great attributes of NFJS.
» Lots of Choices – unlike other technical conferences, NFJS offers a tremendous bandwidth of session choice. With a minimum of four concurrent tracks offered at each NFJS show you are sure to find a compelling session to attend!

Codetown is a social network. It's got blogs, forums, groups, personal pages and more! You might think of Codetown as a funky camper van with lots of compartments for your stuff and a great multimedia system, too! Best of all, Codetown has room for all of your friends.

By Matt SaundersAt QCon London, Sam Newman - the architect who has attributed the coining of the term microservices, went back to the basics to underline the three critical things to get right when working with distributed systems: timeouts, retries and idempotency. Through the talk, he provided mechanisms allowing distributed systems to be more robust.
By Olimpiu PopJon Topper, AWS Ambassador and founder of The Scale Factory, shared key insights at QCon London 2025 on building effective SaaS solutions. He highlighted pitfalls, stressing the importance of multi-tenancy from day one, automating tenant provisioning, and planning disaster recovery. Topper encouraged leveraging community wisdom to avoid costly mistakes and implement secure, scalable architectures.
By Matt SaundersAs their organization grew, Thiago Ghisi's work as director of engineering shifted from being hands-on in emergencies to designing frameworks and delegating decisions. He suggested treating changes as experiments, documenting reorganizations, and using a wave-based communication approach to gather feedback, ensuring people feel heard and invested.
By Ben LindersAt QCon London 2025, Teena Idnani from Microsoft addressed the rise of multi-cloud adoption, revealing that 89% of organizations embrace this strategy. Using the fictional FinBank, she showcased practical strategies to overcome latency, resilience, event ordering, and duplication challenges, emphasizing the importance of security, observability, and continuous team education.
