Universal Mind and Adobe have finally helped the Adogo (http://adogo.us) bring a FlashCamp (formerly FlexCamp) to the Central Florida area for FlashCamp Orlando 2009. The event will be a one day event held on May 29, 2009 in the Live Oak Center at UCF from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. The cost is $50 and will include parking, all sessions, door prizes, and lunch for the day; an early bird price of $35 is available until May 1st. Topics are going to be developer focused, but designers are invited to attend. Our very own Maxim Porges and Jason Madsen of Adogo will be speaking at the event. Greg Wilson, platform evangelist for Adobe, and Andrew Powell and David Tucker of Universal Mind will be speaking as well. We may also be having a pre-event the night before, so watch http://adogo.us for more details to follow.
The website for the event can be found @ http://www.flashcamporlando.com/. If you’ve heard enough and want to register right away head over to http://flashcamporlando.eventbrite.com/ to save your spot; availability is limited.
Help spread the word about FlashCamp Orlando; it promises to be be a great event for those just starting out in Flex as well as the seasoned Flex developer.
