We have a very talented guest in town for www.j4k.io. He’s offered to give a talk on 7/31. If there’s sufficient interest (at least 10 Juggies :), I’ll try to get a last minute room and arrange it.

Java Champion and Developer advocate at IBM
Pratik Patel is a developer advocate at IBM. He wrote the first book on 'enterprise Java' in 1996, "Java Database Programming with JDBC." He has also spoken at various conferences and participates in several local tech groups and startup groups. He hacks Java, iOS, Android, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Clojure, Rails, and ..... well everything except Perl. He is a co-organizer of Atlanta JUG and program chair for Devnexus conference.
