Docker and Gradle
Docker combined with some modest JVM tooling can solve a lot of development problems in some very interesting ways. This talk dives into a few of those situations, and shows an example of how we have utilized Docker with Gradle in our product development. It also explores some of the other options we have to integrate Docker with JUnit/Spock tests and some of the benefits/pitfalls of this approach.
Speaker Joe McCall is a professional software engineer for Intrepid Networks in the Sanford area that has been working with Java/JVM professionally since 2011, and Groovy/Grails since 2012, both on Web and Mobiler.

By Anthony AlfordPatterns can help us to understand how things work and how cultures develop. The game in an organisational system is about recognizing patterns and anti-patterns. According to Tiani Jones, leaders should work on the system rather than in the system and create the conditions for the development and sustainment of good patterns in software organisations.
