  Grails is a web application development platform that uses the Groovy
  language. Grails runs on top of technologies you know and love such a
 s Java, Spring, and Hibernate.\n\nThis presentation is about introduci
 ng Grails and some of the benefits it provides. Ravi will be presentin
 g the following sub topics:\n1. Why Grails?\n2. A simplistic web site 
 in 5 minutes, maybe 2 :)\n3. Grails is based on groovy: so a brief tou
 r of Groovy features that makes coding super fun!\n4. Convention over 
 configuration.\n5. Scaffolding.\n6. Dynamic methods based on Model. No
  need of DAOs.\n7. Easy database integration\n8. Integration with Hibe
