 I'm just back from a very exciting conference called OSCON - the O'Rei
 lly Open Source Conference in Portland, OR. \n\nI'm going to go over 
 what I learned at OSCON tonight and hit on some current trends I becam
 e aware of at the conference. \nThere were thousands of people at the
  conference. Plus, there were about 10 tracks which equated to 10 talk
 s per hour, 8 hours a day for 5 days! Overwhelming? Nah - it was excit
 ing and a bunch of fun. I learned so much about current trends in comp
 uting. And, the after-events - the BOF's (birds of a feather sessions)
  and the mixers were informative, as well.\nI made lots of new contact
 s, learned enough to keep my grey matter hopping for a long time, and 
 can't wait to convey all I can to you. \nSo, please RSVP so I'll know
  how much pizza to order - I look forward to seeing many of you tonigh
