 than 20 years of experience in the business he is passionate about web
  technologies, user experience and distributed systems. \r\n\r\nAs a 
 Domain Driven Design practitioner he believes in the importance of und
 erstanding the core domain in order to build useful software.\r\n\r\nR
 eactive programming has been getting lots of attention lately, Project
 s like Reactive Extensions (Rx) library in the .NET,  RxJS, RXJava, a
 nd lately Project Reactor have brought Reactive programming into the m
 ain scene. Reactive programming is basically programming with asynchro
 nous data streams.\r\n\r\nSpring 5  (first milestone June 2016) has r
 eactive features built into it, including tools for building HTTP serv
 ers and clients. \r\nWe will see a very familiar programming model us
 ing annotations to decorate controller methods to handle HTTP requests
 , for the most part handing off the dispatching of reactive requests a
 nd back pressure concerns to the framework. We will also take a look a
 t a more functional way of building web applications on Spring.\r\n\n\
