Orlando - Mid-Level Java and C++ Coders (Closed)

Hello Codetown!

We are getting ready to start an exciting new 1 year project. We're looking for contract Java and C++ coders. The rate is $40-50/hr DOE. Here are the requirements:

JAVA Software Developer – Mid-Level (2 positions)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of direct experience programming in JAVA
  • 2+ years of experience programming operator user interfaces
  • Assist with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, interfaces and designs for software systems with direction from technical leads
  • Familiar with Gradle build tool; Atlassian Tool Suite; Nexus
  • Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
  • Capable of using Configuration Management processes and tools; establish metrics
  • Familiar with integrating and compiling software components into builds
  • Performs troubleshooting of defects on target system
  • Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

 

 

JAVA Software Developer – Mid-Level

• 3+ years of direct work experience programming in JAVA

• 2+ years of experience programming in C++

• Assist with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, interfaces and designs for software systems with direction from technical leads

• Experience with Windows O/S and Linux O/S

• Experience with integrating developed software components into an embedded system

• Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met

• Capable of using Configuration Management processes and tools; establish metrics

• Performs troubleshooting of defects on embedded system
  • Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

 

 

 

C++ Software Developer – Mid-Level

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

• 3+ years of direct experience programming in C++ on a Linux operating system

• 2+ years of experience programming in C/C++ on Windows operating systems

• Assist with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, interfaces and designs for software systems with direction from technical leads

• Familiar with Linux scripting and user shells

• Experience with integrating developed software components into a functional embedded system

• Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met

• Capable of using Configuration Management processes and tools; establish metrics

• Familiar with integrating and compiling software components into builds

• Tests complex component level software in the target environment

• Performs troubleshooting of defects on embedded system
  • Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Terraform 1.8 Adds Provider-Defined Functions, Improves AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes Providers

HashiCorp has released version 1.8 of Terraform, their infrastructure-as-code language. The release introduces provider-defined functions. This enables the creation of custom functions within a given provider that handle computational-style tasks. Several providers have introduced new provider-defined functions. Version 1.8 also introduces improvements to refactoring across resource types.
